Training Kriya Mandiri Kanwil 5 Batch 10 – This Is My Story

Happy weekend for you all...

today I will share another story of my life, my first training journey after completing high school.

In the past, I used to join some trainings which most of them were about making movies, including INEFFEST 2013, but in the middle of this year, 2014, I live in a different life. I get a chance to join an internship program in a banking world, at the biggest bank in Indonesia, Bank Mandiri.

Last Monday, exactly at August 11, 2014 I joined the 1^st day of 2 weeks training program before the internship started. I went there at 4 AM, picked up by the candidate of my brother-in-law, and continued my journey by train and mini bus. It took around 2 ½ hours.

I entered to the 8^th room of Mandiri Building, Plaza Bapindo, and saw 31 chairs for 31 persons. The candidates of Kriya Mandiri for Region 5, batch 10 year 2014 that was chosen were 31 persons. Nevertheless, there was one person who dropped his own self off from the training program, I don’t know why, but in the whole first week of the training, he didn’t come even just for a day. Thus, the exact participants were 30 persons, 26 girls, and 4 boys.

I was the youngest and the shortest participant, thus, I deemed all of my friends there as my elder brothers and sisters. I am the one who was just 18 years old when all of them were above 21 years old. Nevertheless, it made no difference at all. We were trained together, we learnt together, even ate and prayed, we were together. Only one different thing, sometimes, they saw me as a younger girl. For me, it was ok, because that’s the fact. Those were really nice moments, when in the break time, when I talked to them, they always advised many things about life, education, and anything. I felt so blessed to meet great people like them. Thanks Allah!

In the training, I felt so curious! Do you know that I had never come to Bank Mandiri before, and I hadn’t have Mandiri saving before. But, then I entered to the banking world with a few knowledge of banking. That training was an exact training. There were many things that I had just known about banking from the training. I learnt about the history, system, service, advantage, etc. And, I learnt from inspiring persons there, including my brothers and sisters as same participants. You know, that that was the real class! We learnt in the real world, not just in the class.

The next training will be started again next Monday, hopefully all of us can pass that well. And I hope I can be placed in the nearest branch from my house, aamiin.
